As part of the Modesto International Architecture Festival, the Center will be the starting off point for a guided tour of downtown Modesto modernist buildings.

Celebrate the opening of the 5th annual Modesto International Architecture Festival mingling with architects, designers, landscapers, old friends, and new friends. See cool photographs, artwork, and an exhibit of the architecture of Robert Beharka while enjoying food and drink. You will be among the first to preview the new Building Imagination Center. The gala is a fund raising event for the festival.

Donations will be accepted the night of the event.

As part of the fifth annual Modesto International Architecture Festival, Dr. Staci Gem Scheiwiller, assistant professor, CSU Stanislaus, explores the mingling of traditions that created Islamic architecture; then leads us into a discussion about borrowing, mixing, and integrating motifs from different cultural alignments.
